Fultonville, NY: Floyd Billington came to the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park last October for the first time and by evenings end had came away with his first track feature win. Seven months later he landed in victory lane again - this time as a track Modified regular.
Billington took the lead by going around Erik Nelson on lap 26 and held off the Amsterdam driver for the win. A win which was worth an extra $100 thanks to Yurkewecz Auto Crushers. Nelson came home second with JaMike Sowle third, Johnny Marsh fourth and Dan Fasset fifth.
Butchie Irwin won the 40 lap Budget Sportsman feature. The race was the make up event for the opening day dust out. Shaun Pangman came home second with Angela Hoard third, David Hinsch fourth and Mike Burdo fifth.
Dave Horning Sr. continues to dominate the Street Stock division. Horning took the win and in the process extended his points lead. Luke Horning came home second with Darrell Older third, Rob Van Aernam fourth and Mike Wilber fifth.
Laurie Fallis won the 15 lap Cruiser feature. Jenelle Davis came home second with Kate Steally third, Andy Graves fourth and Bruce Liddle fifth.
Chad King continues his perfect season in the Slingshot division. Jim Pollard came home second with Justin Garcia third, JaMike Sowle fourth and Wayne Gaige fifth.
The Glen Ride Motorsports Park returns to action next Sunday with the Memorial Day Bash. The Modifieds will compete in a 40 lap feature with the winner earning a guaranteed starting position for the Capital District 50 - apart of the September Thunder On The Mountain Weekend.
