SHOT DROP BAR's LEAKS SPRINT CAR NATIONALS EARLY ENTRIES INCLUDE PAT
CANNON & CORY HAAS
The Second Annual Shot Drop Bar's Leaks Sprint Car Nationals are set for
the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA on Friday night, June
8. Pat Cannon, defending winner of this event was one of several
drivers to pre-enter for the $4,000 to win 360 Sprint National event.
This lucrative payoff will offer $1,125 for a fifth place finish,
$1,000 for tenth and a minimum of $300 just to take the green flag in
the 25 lap event.
A field of fifty 360 Sprints took part in the 2006 edition of this
National event. As we gear up for the Friday, June 8th event, early
entries joining Pat Cannon include Cory Haas, Michael Carber, Blaze
Regina, URC defending Champion Curt Michael, Davey Sammons, Jason
Clauss, URC point leader Ed Aikin, Scott Pursell, Trevor Lewis, Mark
Bitner and Midge Miller.
Time trials, heats, and a "B" and "C" Main will all lead up to the 25
lap National event. URC will follow their weekly rules for the 360
motors as well as car specs. The URC left rear tire will be a SD33 or
harder and the right rear is an MC2. A 2" wickerbill is permitted and
other then the top wing, no other cockpit adjustable devices are
permitted. The 358 Sprints will follow the weekly Williams Grove 358
sprint engine rules.
There is a $100 pre entry fee for all competitors. The entry fee may be
paid on race night or by mail. If you are paying by mail, please make
your check payable to the United Racing Company. Please mail your
