RAIN STOPS URC BAR'S LEAKS SPRINT SERIES SATURDAY NIGHT AT BRIDGEPORT
SPEEDWAY
Following warm-ups for the URC Bar's Leaks Sprint Series, a violent
rain storm hovered over the Bridgeport Speedway, washing out their
scheduled racing program on Saturday night. At this time, a rain date
for this event is being considered and will be announced shortly.
For URC, the Bar's Leaks Sprint Series will head to the Delaware
International Speedway on Saturday night, June 2nd for URC's only event
that weekend in the state of Delaware. Following that event, URC will
move to the Williams Grove Speedway for the Friday night, June 8th
Bar's Leaks/Shot Drop Nationals paying $4,000 to win, $1,000 for tenth
and $300 to take the green. The Shot Drop payoff remains unmatched for
any other major 360 sprint event in the East. The following night,
Saturday, June 9, URC will be in action at the Lincoln Speedway.
As the month of June continues, Saturday, June 16, the URC Sprints will
be in action at the Grandview Speedway followed by a return visit to the
New Egypt Speedway on Saturday, June 23rd. On Wednesday night, June
27, URC will participate in the Kasey Kahne Foundation event at the
Williams Grove Speedway. This will be an invitational only event
matching the URC competitors against the weekly Williams Grove 358
Sprints. All details for the Kasey Kahne Foundation event will be
announced following the June 2nd event at Delaware International.
