CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY CANCELS FOR A SECOND WEEK IN A ROW.

Mother nature has won for a second week in a row as rain precipitations have started in the morning and fallen all day long which forced Cornwall Motor Speedway to postpone opening night again.

The speedway will try to make a third attempt to get opening night in next Sunday, June 3rd. Every fans and racing team that was on site and already bought their ticket has been asked to keep it as they will be redeemed for the presentation of the twin 25 laps for modified with a complete racing program plus a demolition Derby at the end of the night.

Track maintenance has worked really hard in the past two weeks to get the track in perfect condition for opening night. Drivers will be pleased with the exceptional track surface from beginning to end.

Next Sunday, as you enter the speedway, you will discover many improvements made to the speedway facilities during the off-season. A new top of the line scoreboard from which, you will be able to see the top 5 positions plus a lap counter. It is located in turn 1 and 2 on your right hand side of the speedway.

You will also notice the new and improved 2007 design of the race official uniforms.
