The Inaugural Superchips "Diamond Nationals" Presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts from Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO will be shown twice on the Vs. Network in June. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event which was ran on May 11 and 12 featured a purse in excess of $100,000 with $25,000 going to the winner. The program will air during the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour which is seen weekly on the Vs. Network. The "Diamond Nationals" will take to the airwaves on Saturday, June 9 at 4:00 PM (Eastern Time) with a rebroadcast of the race on Thursday, June 14 at 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).
The hour long broadcast of the "Diamond Nationals" on the Vs. Network is available on DISH Network (Channel 151) and DIREC TV (Channel 608).
The broadcast of the event shows the continuing support of Lucas Oil Products towards Dirt Late Model Racing. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is in its third year of sanctioning late model events across the country. In 2007 the series will sanction 37 events in 16 states this year with total purse money, contingencies, bonuses and point fund awards totaling $2.3 million dollars.
