HARTFORD, Ohio; May 29, 2007 - For the ninth time in Sharon Speedway history the stars of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series will invade the 3/8-mile oval on Friday, June 1, with gates slated to open at 4 p.m., hot laps to commence at 6:30 p.m. and qualifying at 7 p.m. The festivities will be sponsored by Harley-Davidson of Youngstown and Quaker Steak and Lube.

Fans are encouraged to order tickets to see the world's greatest sprint car drivers in advance to earn access to an exclusive pit party. All World of Outlaws Sprint ticket orders placed prior to the show will garner a Pit Party voucher free of charge, which grants fans of all ages the opportunity to get up close and personal to the men and machines of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series during intermission. Fans can order online 24 hours a day at the store on www.sharonspeedway.com up until midnight on Thursday night to garner a Pit Party voucher.

Kids (6-13) can enter the Hartford oval for just $5 on June 1, making a family trip to the Outlaws the best deal in town. General admission tickets will cost $25 for adults. Reserved seats for the World Outlaws are just $2 more. Pit passes are $32. For tickets call the track at (330) 772-1186 or log on to www.sharonspeedway.com. Order in advance, and be part of the exclusive World of Outlaw Pit Party during intermission.

The likes of 20-time Outlaws champion "King" Steve Kinser, Danny Lasoski and current point leader Donny Schatz will be back in town this Friday for their only visit to Sharon Speedway in 2007. Fans can also see Tony Stewart's World of Outlaw piloted by Paul McMahan battle Kasey Kahne's sprint, which is wheeled by Joey Saldana.

Lasoski took the initial Hartford visit of the Outlaws back in May of 2001. Lasoski is also the track record holder at the Hartford oval, which was set on July 30, 2003 (12.844 sec.). Kinser, who is a 20-time World of Outlaws champion, owns three A-Main trophies in seven visits to Sharon Speedway. In all, five different drivers have taken the checkered flag in the eight previous Outlaws races. In addition to Kinser, Lasoski is the only other repeat winner at Sharon Speedway. Ohio native Jac Haudenschild held off Brooke Tatnell in a thrilling A-Main last season. The pure stocks will join the Outlaws on Friday.

In addition to the Outlaws on Friday night, Sharon Speedway will double dip this week with the sixth night of FANtastic Five racing scheduled for Saturday night. For the second straight week, fans will be treated to a pair of bonus features (Limited Sprints and E-Mods) on Diamond Steel/Boardman Steel and Warren Soil and Water Conservation night.

Saturday evening will feature a Gold Rush for the kids, Joe Sylvester's monster truck at intermission and a pure stock special involving Friday night's feature winner. Tickets for Saturday evening's show will be available at a price of $11 for adults (16 and older), $5 for kids (12-15) and free for children 11 and younger. Pit passes are $22, and the pit gate opens at 3 p.m. Fans looking to buy pit passes for Friday and Saturday will be charged a total of $45.

Saturday will also be a "Two for $2" night. Fans who bring two non-perishable food items for Second Harvest Food Bank this Saturday will receive $2 off the price of an adult general admission ticket. A representative will collect the food outside the gate from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. only. Everyone who donates two food items will receive a $2 coupon to present at the ticket window, bringing the price of an adult general admission ticket to just $9. All non-perishable food items are accepted, but canned meats, canned vegetables, tuna fish and peanut butter are needed most.

On Saturday, gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Fans can call (330) 772-5481 or visit www.sharonspeedway.com for more information and directions.
