IRA to help re-open Charter Raceway.
Beaver Dam, WI (June1, 2007): Charter Raceway Park reopens on Saturday June 2nd, with a major event, as "The Duel At The Dam" goes track side featuring twin headliners with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw 410 Sprints & The Badger Midgets. All the cars and stars of both organizations will be on hand for this true open wheel spectacular.
The staff at Charter Raceway Park has done an unbelievable job making the facility ready to host such an event less than two weeks after a fire ripped through the facility destroying the main building (the track's trademark) and some support vehicles.
IRA salutes the efforts of the Charter staff and looks forward to competing in this big event at what is still one of the finest short track venues in the country.
