Johnson’s Automotive & A-1 Self Storage presents 5 Star Program plus kids bike races this Saturday.

This week, Johnson’s Automotive and A-1 Self Storage presents the 5 Star Program plus kids bike races.
Coming off a week of close finishes and a ton of caution free racing, Genesee Speedway hopes to have a repeat of last weeks program. The race track held together quite nicely and the racing was phenomenal. The BDK Construction 360 Late Models ran their finest race of the season running from green to checkers with one of the closet finishes we have ever seen. Jim Johnson edged out Jon Rivers with a last lap pass which seen Johnson come out on top by seven one thousandths of a second. Can Johnson hold on and go 5 for 5?
Look for Pete Stefanski and Eric Greenlief’s battle to continue this week in the Greenlief’s Restaurant Pro Stock Division. Stefanski has gone 4 for 4 and Greenlief almost had him last week.
Nick Skeet suffered a water pump failure last week which took him out of the race, but look for him to be back on top and shooting for the win as he battles with the competition in the Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stock Division.
Jeb Walworth will get one yet. Walworth was the fastest car on the track in the Bobcat of Buffalo Street Stocks until his mishap with David Downs in the feature. Bill Weller has been the man to beat, but don’t count out Joey Spicola. Spicola has been very consistent and is knocking on victory lanes door.
Rob Pratt is looking for his third victory of the year at Genesee Speedway in the Troyer Race Cars Sportsman Division, but John Venuto and Steve Schumacher are keeping themselves close to Pratt in the points with consistent runs.
