Mr. DIRTcar Street Stock Super Series and DIRTcar Modifieds Highlighted this Friday June 8 at Brewerton

BREWERTON, NY – Colosse Cheese and Ferris Industries will present the DIRTCAR Motorsports excitement this Friday June 8 at Brewerton Speedway. Scheduled to compete on the fast “D-Shaped DIRT Demon” are the DIRTCAR Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites, 4-Cylinder Super Stocks, and the first ever visit of the Mr. DIRTCAR Street Stock Super Series. Race time at the popular Route 11 track is set for 7:30pm.



Race action has been intense as ever in the headline DIRTcar Modified division with five different winners in as many events. Last Friday’s controversial last lap finish between new rivals Willy Decker and Alan Johnson still has fans talking about the excitement coming this Friday. To date, Tom Sears, Kevin Bates, Jimmy Phelps, Alan Johnson, and Willy Decker have all visited victory lane. Looking to break into the winner’s circle this Friday in the huge 35-lap event are Chuck Bower, Kenny Stafford, Dan Vauter, Jim Witko, Scott Prentice, and Tim Sears.



Dale Caswell continues to dominate the IMCA Modified division with three straight feature wins. Kevan Cook leads the standings over Pete Anderson, Greg Kimball, Caswell, and J.J. Courcy. In the ESDCA Mod Lites, Dan Williams is undefeated with five consecutive feature victories. Doug Williams, Justin Crisafulli, Lowell Zehr, and Tim Devendorf will try to put an end on Williams’ reign. Matt Wetterer recently became the third winner of the year in the 4-Cylinder Super Stock ranks with Chuck Powelczk and Claude Hutchings also winning.



The Mr. DIRTCAR Street Stock Super Series will visit Brewerton Speedway for the first event of their 2007 points season. Scheduled to compete in the are the best Street Stock drivers from all over the state, including Dave Mannise, Dan Hofmann, Ron Hawker, Dave Bruno, Nathan Peckham, Steve Woodworth, Gary Barton, and Nick Rizzo.



Admission prices this Friday night June 8 on Colosse Cheese / Ferris Industries Night are $12 for Adults, $5 for Ages 10-14, and children 9 and under are free of charge with a paid adult. Pit admission is $20 for DIRT/IMCA Members and $25 for Non-Members.
