The Corning Building Company of Bath and Corning along with Chuck’s General Contracting of Bradford to co-sponsor the event.
(Woodhull, NY) The LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts sponsored Front Wheel Drive Division will run its first extra distance feature event of the year on Saturday, June 16 at the Woodhull Raceway. Track owner, Vern Wasson started the highly popular class at the start of the 2006 race season and the division has grown in leaps and bounds over the past year. With full fields each week and more cars being built this true hobby class is popular with both the competitors as well as the fans. For the racers it is an affordable class in which to compete and for the fans it is exciting to watch the mighty four cylinder front wheel machines in action. In addition to the LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts FWD Special it will be a regular show of the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds, the S&W Awards and Photos Crate Sportsman, the NAPA Super Stocks along with the Signs Plus Mini Stocks and the Morgan’s Auto Repair Street Stock Division.
An old friend and a new face will co-sponsor the night of action as the Corning Building Company with locations in Corning and Bath will make a return engagement to Woodhull and Chuck Kieran of Chuck’s General Contracting and Rentals of Bradford will make his first appearance as a sponsor. Both companies also proudly display infield billboards at the track. The Corning Building Companies Creative Services Division has handled the lay out and printing of the Woodhull Raceway schedule cards for the past several years and their 2007 effort is the talk of the local race community. Expect to see an even more impressive Woodhull Raceway schedule card in 2008 thanks to the folks at CBC.
