Fultonville, NY: Erik Nelson won Sunday nights 40 lap 358 Modified feature at the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. This was the rained out Memorial Day Bash scheduled for a week ago. Nelson, of Amsterdam took the win over Craig Hanson, Floyd Billington, Randy Hotaling and Stan Lemiesz. Billington and Ray Zemken won the heat races.
Butchie Irwin won the 25 lap Budget Sportsman feature. Kale Groff came home second with early race leader Angela Hoard third, Doug Mathewson fourth and Chuck Allen fifth. Howard Gage and David Hinsch won the heat races.
Darrell Older notched win number one on the season in the 25 lap Street Stock feature. Rocky Warner of Johnstown came home second with point leader Dave Horning Sr. third, Chuck McSpirit fourth and Jason Samrov fifth. Warner and Brian Cosselman won the heat races.
Bruce Liddle extended his point lead by winning the 15 lap Cruiser feature. Liddle won over Kerrie Hollenbeck, Jamie Warner, Erin Older and T.J. Marlett. Laurie Fallis and Liddle won the heat races.
Bradley Kretzer won the Demo Derby. Due to the impending rain, the scheduled kiddy rides were postponed until next Sunday night. Joining them will be a children’s Banner Contest. A complete four division show will be on the card along with the first Powder Puff of the season. Race time is 6 pm.
