Intense Fabrication and Design Joins the Empire Super Sprints for the 2007 Season.
Syracuse, N.Y. – Even though the opening event was held a few short days ago, the sponsorships with the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) and the tour brought to you by Jacobs Motorsports continue to build. Over $130,000 in sponsorships has been tallied to date, but that has now been increased by Intense Fabricating and Design from Brookfield, Ohio.
Doug Kekich has been a fan of ESS for years through 2003 tour champion Mike Lutz as well as past sponsors Bailey Racing Products and Dave Blaney Racing. In his latest endeavor he has founded Intense Fabrication & Design, Inc with the personal commitment to provide customers with his years of experience to better engineer their equipment and looks forward to the opportunity to provide custom solutions to the fabricating challenges that you face with your hobby. Intense will provide an award to a driver in the top ten at each ESS event and also be a part of a major banquet sponsorship program which will be announced in the very near future. Also, don’t be surprised if you see Doug as well as good friend Dale Blaney at an ESS event in 2007.
The first event on the 31 date tour is in the books. Justin Barger fired the first shot with his win at Utica-Rome Speedway over Jason Barney, Jeff VanDusen, Steve Poirier and Jared Zimbardi. But, the ESS title will not take shape until the tour starts to go into full swing. Defending champ Alain Bergeron stopped the competition some with Lance Yonge, Mike Stelter, Jeff Cook and others in the fight.
ESS will go full swing on June 15-17 with the first three Lucas Oil Canadian Invasion events which will be held at Autodrome’s Granby and Drummond with a Sunday night stop at the Cornwall Motor Speedway and the winner at each event will take home a cool $2,000.
