SEIDEL, WELSH, SNYDER & HEIMBACH EYE $4,000 TO WIN SHOT DROP/RISLONE
SPRINT NATIONALS AT THE GROVE
Williams Grove Speedway will again host the 2nd Annual Shot Drop/Rislone
Sprint Nationals on Friday night, June 8th. Interest in growing as
drivers Brian Seidel, Kevin Welsh, Nate Snyder and Blane Heimbach plan
to chase the $4,000 first place prize in the 25 lap 360 sprint car
National event. Defending winner Pat Cannon will be the man to beat
along with current URC point leader Justin Collett. The list of
entries includes Cory Haas, Michael Carber, Ed Aikin, Curt Michael,
Davey Sammons, Kramer Williamson, Scott Pursell, Trevor Lewis, Mark
Bitner and Blaze Regina just to name a few.
Pit gates will open at 5:30 PM with practice getting underway at 6:45
PM, immediately following the drivers meeting.
Time trials, heats, and a "B" and "C" Main will all lead up to the 25
lap National event. URC will follow their weekly rules for the 360
motors as well as car specs. The URC left rear tire will be a SD33 or
harder and the right rear is an MC2. A 2" wickerbill is permitted and
other then the top wing, no other cockpit adjustable devices are
permitted. The 358 Sprints will follow the weekly Williams Grove 358
sprint engine rules.
