KIRKWOOD, NY…This Wednesday will see a very special mid-week event at Five Mile Point Speedway. The STAR Series Modified 50 will pit the areas best Modified drivers against many of the top invaders in a 50 lap event with the high flying sail panels. Expect to see invaders like New Jersey ace Rick Laubach fresh off his STAR Series win at Penn Can and north star Pat Ward among many others including an expected return of last years Track Champion Mitch Gibbs. The last STAR Series event at the Point was highlighted by the 67 year old Carl Nagels popular victory. Who will it be this Wednesday? Don’t forget the Race of Champions Dart Dirt Series Stars will also be in action for a 40 lap special event. Utica Rome Speedway Star Steve Way is the defending north region champion.
