410 SPRINTS & 358 MODIFIEDS SPARK JULY 3RD THUNDER ON THE HILL EVENT AT
GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series is in full swing
with two events already in the record books for 2007. High speed, dirt
slinging action will return to the Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night,
July 3rd when the Cindy Rowe Auto Glass 410 Sprint Pennsylvania Speed
Week Series invades the "hill". Also on the program will be the popular
358 NASCAR Modifieds in an invitation event that will showcase the top
twenty-four drivers in points. The 410 Sprints will compete in
qualifying and a 35 lap feature event as the 258 Modifieds will compete
in heat races events all leading up to their 25 lap main event. Gates
open at 5 PM with qualifying getting underway at 7:30 PM.
The top drivers of the PA Posse will be on hand to include Fast Freddie
Rahmer, Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, Alan Cole, Mark Smith, Keith
Kauffman, Todd Shaffer and Jeff Shepard to name a few. On the NASCAR
358 Modified Roster, expect Duane Howard, Jeff Strunk, Craig VonDohren,
MeMe DeSantis, Doug Manmiller, Shawn Reimert, Kevin Hirthler, John
Willman and Mike Gular. The NASCAR 358 Modified feature will invite the
top twenty-four drivers in point to compete in three "unique" heat race
events. An additional six provisional spots will be added to the
feature event.
This 410 Sprint & 358 Modified doubleheader will showcase some of the
best drivers from both divisions, in one night and only at Thunder on
the Hill. COMDIAL Telephone Communications will again post $200 for
fast time in the 410 sprints. The fast time mark that everyone will
be shooting for is 11.533, set by Sean Michael in the ZEMCO 410 sprint
car established on May 26, 2002.
Advance tickets for the July 3rd Holiday 410 Sprint Modified
Doubleheader are now on sale. Adult tickets are $20, Children 6-11 are
$5 and children under the age of six will be admitted for free.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the Grandview Speedway on any
Saturday night racing event or by calling 215-860-5631. You may also
purchase tickets through the mail by making your check or money order
payable to: Grandview Speedway. Please mail your payment to Thunder
Series 2007 129 Mill Pond Place Langhorne, PA 19047. Please be
sure to include a self-addressed and stamped envelop and we will mail
your tickets immediately.
The new Inside/Out Promotion will again take place on Tuesday night,
July 3rd. If you would like to watch the warm-ups from the infield, be
sure to purchase advance tickets and be in line at the front gate on
race night at 4:30 PM. You just might be invited to watch the warm-ups
from the fourth turn viewing area. It's an awesome sight!

Speed Week Series & 358 Modifieds
The Cindy Rowe Auto Glass Pennsylvania Sprint Speed Week Series will
roll into the Grandview Speedway for this Holiday special event on
Tuesday night, July 3rd. The top drivers of the well known Pennsylvania
Posse will battle for the $5,000 payday in the 35 lap main event as the
358 NASCAR Modifieds battle it out in heats and a 25 lap feature.
Wednesday, July 18th 7:30 PM Super DIRT Series Big Block Modified 100
Lap Traffic JAM (FAN FUN NIGHT. . . More to Come! ! !)
Always a fan favorite, the 10th Annual Super DIRT Series Big Block
Modified 100 Lap Traffic JAM will take to the Grandview Speedway on
Wednesday night, July 18. A field of at least thirty modifieds will
start the 100 lap grind that will pay $6,000 to the winner. The top
stars of DIRT to include Brett Hearn, Alan Johnson, Matt Sheppard, Tim
Fuller, Billy Decker, Gary Tomkins, Pat Ward and Danny Johnson will
challenge of the Southeast locals like Jeff Strunk, Billy Pauch, Jimmy
Horton, Frank Cozze, Craig VonDohren, Doug Manmiller and Kenny
Brightbill just to name a few. The Garden State Vintage Stock Cars will
be on the program as well.
Tuesday, August 21st 7:30 PM The Grandview THUNDER 5-25's Features Only
The fans favorite, the Grandview THUNDER 5-25's features only program
will make-up this popular racing program. The 410 Sprints, NASCAR
Modifieds, 600 Sprints, Rolling Thunder Legends and the 600 Modifieds
will be the five featured classes of this show. Be sure to catch the
5-25's, the fans just love the feature only format. No Time Trials, No
Heat Races, No Consolations, No Qualifying. . . . Just 5 Awesome
features in one night of racing. Over 100 cars compete in this great
night of racing.
Saturday, October 20 6:00 PM House of Thunder Grandview THUNDER 5-25's
Features Only
The House of Thunder Halloween Party and Grandview THUNDER 5-25's
features only program will close out the 2007 Thunder on the Hill Racing
Series. On the five division program will be the URC Spooky Sprints, the
NASCAR Nasty Modifieds, the Looney Late Models, Ghostly Legends and the
600 Monster Modifieds. An added attraction to the show will be the 358
Modified Non-Winner's race and the always enjoyable Garden State Vintage
Stock Cars. Come out early for the pre-race fun! Dress up for Halloween
and maybe you'll be in the Victory Lane Photo.
