Invaders set to land at Genesee Speedway for Lucas Oil Shoot-Out presented by Dirt Track Digest.

Sportsman modifieds from Southern Ontario and Western New York are gearing up for the biggest Sportsman race of the 2007 season at Genesee Speedway. The 2nd Annual Lucas Oil Shoot-Out presented by Dirt Track Digest will be bringing in the heavy hitters from Merrittville Speedway, Humberstone Speedway, Ransomville Speedway and Ohsweken Speedway to go head to head with the home track heros.
Don Spatorico is the current points leader going into this weekend’s event and Spatorico is no stranger to Genesee Speedway. Spatorico has one feature win at Genesee Speedway this season, but repeat winners Rob Pratt and Steve Schumacher are looking to keep Spatorico and the rest of the invaders out of victory lane.
Jim Johnson didn’t have a very good night last week in the BDK 360 Late Models when his night came to an end in a multi car pile up in turn three. However, Johnson would rebound from his night of bad luck to go on and win the Can-Am Late Model Series event last Sunday when they visited Humberstone Speedway. Bob Babbitt is coming off a win and is looking to join the repeat winners list that continues to grow.
Dan Norton in the Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stocks, Jeb Walworth in the Bobcat of Buffalo Street Stocks and Don Barnes in the Greenlief’s Restaurant Pro Stocks are all looking to extend their consecutive win streaks and complete the ‘Three-peat”. So far this season Jim Johnson and Pete Stefanski have completed the Three-peat. Who’s gonna be next.
Saturday Night is also Cowboy Shoot-Out Night. Anyone wearing a cowboy hat will receive $1 off their admission.
