FULTON, NY The March Meltdown event of the Victoria 200 Rules Modified Mini-Series at Fulton Speedway featuring sail panels and an open tire rule was scheduled to kick off the 2007 race season on March 31 has been rescheduled for Thursday September 27. The event will now offer a tremendous kickoff to the 22nd Annual Victoria 200 Weekend which runs from September 27-30 at the speedway.
The Victoria 200 Rules Modifieds will now join the ESDCA Mod Lites for their Doug Cooper Memorial Championship event, practice for all divisions, and a pitside party after the races to offer what promises to be a tremendous beginning of the 22nd annual event.
This move was a strategic one for the drivers and race fans and just makes the $25,000 to win Victoria 200 that much bigger and better. Now, Modified drivers who struggle throughout the weekend to find track time have one more night to prepare for the Victoria 200 and practice under the new rules structure. A tremendous field of cars is expected now for the entire weekend.
The new Victoria 200 / Victoria 200 Rules Modified Mini-Series rules package has drivers from across the Northeast talking about the Victoria 200. Without a doubt, the series and this years Victoria 200 are among the most open series and events in racing history as the greatest possible amount of teams are now eligible to compete.
Any 13" by 92 Dirt Modfiied tire that durometers 40 or above will be deemed legal for Victoria 200 and Mini-Series competition at Brewerton and Fulton Speedways. This means that Hoosier, American Racer, and Goodyear tires will all be allowed as long as it meets the required specifications.

Tuesday May 22, Tuesday August 21, September 27, September 29 (Victoria 200)
2007 DIRT Rules with the following exceptions:
1) Must be Modified chassis.
2) Engines 500 c.i. or less. No fuel injection. 358-Modifieds DO NOT need Rev Box.
3) Weight 2,500 pounds - ALL CARS.
4) Any 13" x 92" Dirt Modified tire, including Hoosier, American Racer, Goodyear. All tires MUST durometer 40 or above.
5) Rear quarter panels / sail panels can extend back to 48" maximum (measured from center of rear axle to rear of car including spoiler). Maximum height of sail panels is 65", measured from the ground to highest point. Window / sail panels cannot extend forward beyond the back of the driver's seat and must mirror size and shape side for side. 4" maximum roof spoiler allowed.
6) Sunoco Race Fuel or Methanol. Cars on Methanol may run a 32 gallon maximum fuel cell.
7) No time trials. Draw for heats with sealed envelopes in front of grandstand.
8) No two-way radios at all. One way radio (Raceceiver) mandatory. Frequency is 454.000.
9) AMB transponders will be mandatory for the Victoria 200 only and are recommended for each Mini-Series event and Victoria 200 qualifying. Rentals will be available.
10) Only one Victoria 200 entry per driver.
· These rules apply at Brewerton Speedway: June 26, July 11, & Sept. 7.
· These rules apply at Fulton Speedway: March 31, May 22, Aug. 21, & Victoria 200 Weekend September 27-30.
