East Smethport, PA…The FASTRAK Northeast Late Model Touring Series
made their first ever appearance to the FASTRAK weekly-sanctioned
McKean County Raceway on Saturday night and it was John Lacki winning
for the second straight night. A region high 25 cars participated
thrilling the crowd with excellent, competitive side-by-side racing
all night long as many said it was some of the best racing they've
seen in a long time.

John Lacki is quickly making a name for himself. The Sinclairsville,
New York racer who is probably unheard of outside of the northwest
Pennsylvania and southwest New York region is making believers that
low dollar operations like himself can not only compete, but beat the
best in the Late Model business in the new FASTRAK Series. Lacki's
second straight Touring win in as many nights came in the 25-lap
$1,500 to-win Hazen Jordan Memorial event defeating Late Model super
stars like Todd Andrews, Dick Barton, and Alan Dellinger.

Lacki drew the number one pill for the second straight night as he we
was on the hammer speeding out from of Jim Frank and fifth place
starter Greg Oakes as lap one clicked off the score board. On lap
five, it was still Lacki fending off the charges of Oakes and two-
time McKean weekly winner Todd Andrews with Frank and Dick Barton
looming in fourth and fifth when the first yellow was flown for Bob
Kish.

Lacki charged back into turn one on the restart as Barton took over
fourth with 12th place starter Alan Dellinger now sitting fifth as
Frank was shuffled back out of the top five. Andrews would use the
high line to get around Oakes for second on lap eight. Oakes would
regain second on lap 12 as Dellinger would also get by the high
running Andrews. All this was going on while Lacki was checking out
till the yellow was thrown on lap 13 for John Haggerty, Chad Myers
and Kyle Drum.

When racing resumed, Dellinger would jump to third as Oakes would
fall to fourth behind Andrews. With 10 laps to go, Andrews charged
back to the top of the track to get around Dellinger as Oakes and
Barton rounded out the top five. The caution was displayed on lap 17
as Dellinger got too close to the wall and scraped off the rear side
spoiler of his #8 machine. As the field took off again, Lacki
charged back to the front and Andrews took his famous black #42 to
the top of the track to real the leader in. With six to go, Barton
would take his familiar #28B to fourth as Dellinger fall to fifth.

A pair of yellows on laps 21 and 22 kept Andrews close to Lacki and
the fans on the edge to see if the Lacki could hold off the veteran
and former traveling standout. With the final three laps under
green, Lacki left little doubt that he was going to pull off his
first Late Model win at McKean in his B&L Wholesale Supply/Bradford
Window Company/Lema' s Pizza/Craiger' s Race Engine-sponsored, Phantom
Graphics-lettered #7. Andrews came home second as Barton would get
by Oakes for third. Dellinger was fifth. Completing the top 10 were
Chris Knuth, Carl McKinney, Mike Wonderling, Jr., Tom Snyder, Jr.,
and Kyle Drum. The three heat races were won by Barton, Jay Watson,
and Andrews over the 25-car field.

Newcomers to the Series on Saturday night included West Virginia
