Knapp, Robison, Radney, Leslie, Wiley, and Banner Take Humberstone Wins

Rob Knapp took home the Cosco Haulage Sportsman victory at
Humberstone Speedway Sunday Night on he Fathers Day Night Special.
Lucas
Oil rep Steve Snowden made presentations to all winners as well as to
some lucky fans during the racing program.

Knapp rescued the lead on lap 14 from early leaders B. J. Willard
and Luke Carleton during the 25 lap main event. Knapp had to hold off a
very solid charge from Kenny Winfield as he ran his best race of the
season while holding off Carleton who also ran a very good race. Knapp
used his familiar high line to pick up the popular win. Winfield,
Carleton, Don Spiece and Willard rounded out the top 5. Knapp, Spiece
and Zack Zumpe took home the heats.

Steve "Don't Call Me Smoky Any More: Robison claimed his 2nd ever
win in the Brian's Tire Repair Street Stock 20 lapper. Robison went
wire
to wire to pick up the win. The night prior at Merrittville Speedway,
car builder Darren Kish hopped in to try and solve some of the woes
that
have been plagueing Robison's racer. Robison said that they determined
the car to have some engine problems. Robison opened up his lead and
out
ran Billy Hogue, Brad Sheehan, Cody McPherson and Paul Wichert.
Robison
and McPherson won the heats.

In the 25 lap NY Modified Midget feature, Zack Morgan led the
field to the green and led the early going in a great battle with Jim
Radney. They battled until lap 9 as Morgan came in contact with the
turn
4 inner wall and was forced to the pits. The lap 10 restart Radney
assumed the lead ad would continue on for the win holding off Jimmy
Lafler. A full finish was not received. Radney and Timex Morgan won the
heats.

In the 20 lap Lucas Oil Open Wheel Lites, Adam Murphy led the
first 5 laps until being passed by Lucas Oil sponsored Adam Leslie
decided to say bye bye to the remainder of the fast field to pickup his
2nd victory of the ever and 2nd for the weekend. Leslie was followed
by
Justin Sharp, Paul Klager, Adam Murphy, and Jeff Barker rounding out
the
top 5. Murphy and Leslie won the heats.

In the Kendall Oil Mini Stocks, "Ledfoot" Lenny Wiley picked up
his first win since 1998 in the 15 lap feature while leading fro the
pole. Next in line was Cousin Aaron Wiley, James Small, Tony Kelly and
Charlie Lynch. Len Wiley also won the lone heat.

Doug Banner took home the win in the Niagara Auto Sales Pro 4
Trucks. Banner started outside front row and would win his 1st of the
season. Don Lessard was 2nd followed by Rob Anthes, Rick Book and Steve
Brooker. Dave Guignard and Banner won the heats.

1 on 1 Spectator races wer held ad the winner was Matt
Deschamps.

Pit Notes: Dave Guignard was allowed to run a few laps in the Truck
feature but would not gain points or money as he did not meet spec
rules. After a few laps shakedown laps he pulled off without incident.
Up next at Humberstone on June 24th, Epilepsy Niagara will present a
full program plus the Dirt Track Digest 360 Sprints plus 20 laps for
the
Mini Stocks and Pro 4 Trucks and also a Wild School Bus Race. All this
begins at 6:30 PM with pits opening at 4:30and grandstands at 5:00. for

NY MODIFIED MIDGETS: JIM RADNEY, Jim Lafler. Did not receive remaining
