URC PREPS FOR NEW EGYPT & KASEY KAHNE EVENTS
The 60th season of the URC Bar's Leaks Sprint Series will continue this
Saturday night at the New Egypt Speedway. Ed Aikin, the current URC
point leader is just one of many talented drivers chasing the $2,000 to
win first place prize in the 25 lap feature event. Other contenders
include Justin Collett, Brian Seidel, Curt Michael Kevin Welsh, Kramer
Williamson, Davey Sammons, Michael Carber and Jason Clauss to name a
few. This event will be part of the Fred's Trailer Parts New Point
Series as well as a point race for the season long championship chase.
On Wednesday night, June 27, URC will be part of the Kasey Kahne
Foundation 360/358 Sprint event at the Williams Grove Speedway. Gates
will open at 4 PM with warm-ups set for 6:30 PM. This is a time trial
event. Tires are limited to the American Racer MC2, Hoosier RD15 or
SP15.
URC car owners that are invited to compete in this event include Guy
Howie, Midge Miller, Kramer Williamson, Adam Gordon, Fred Kennedy,
Robbie Stillwaggon, Justin Collett, Joe Zuczek, Andrew Hannula, Scott
McClaren, Mark Bitner, Jason Clauss, Pete Welsh, Kyle Purks, Ed Aikin,
Scott Pursell, Pat Palladino, Davey Sammons, John Pinter, Elmer
Stoltzfus, Josh Weller, Ken Eldreth and Bruce Engler.
