Pulaski, PA…After a very successful three-race weekend, the FASTRAK
Northeast Late Model Touring Series will take its show on the road
this Saturday night, June 23. Bob Schipper's Lakeville Speedway will
host the fifth event of the 2007 season in its maiden voyage.

The 25-lap feature will pay $1,200 to-win, $200 to-start. Pit gates
open at 4:30 with hot laps at 6 and racing at 7:30 p.m. Lakeville's
Steel-Block Late Models will be on the card as well, but not the
Super Late Models as first announced. Drivers will draw pills to
determine the heat race lineups and redraw for the first 12 starting
spots of the feature. There is a $50 entry fee. The Goodyear G45 or
G50 tires are mandatory. They will be available at the track for
$125 each or by calling BWR Performance at 330-509-1999.

"Bob was the first track to call for Touring Series event back in
December," explained FASTRAK Northeast Region Co-Director Vicki
Emig. "Lakeville added the FASTRAK E-Mods to their weekly schedule
and he's a big supporter of the FASTRAK concept. He's thrilled to
bring the FASTRAK Late Models to his track. Lakeville will be new
territory for majority of our racers so everyone will be on equal
ground."

Dick Barton of Ashville, New York continues to lead the Northeast
Touring Series standings, which will award the Series champion $5,000
and a 2008 Bullitt Chassis worth $3,395 plus puts him in good shape
toward the $50,000 National Championship. Barton was the winner at
Raceway 7 on May 25 and Eriez Speedway on June 17 and recorded a pair
of thirds at Raceway 7 on June 15 and McKean County Raceway on June
16 when John Lacki won both events. The complete points are posted
below.

"Last weekend was phenomenal," expressed Co-Director Mike Leone. "We
had great car counts of 22 at Raceway 7 and Eriez and 25 at McKean
County and just amazing racing! It's been a long times since I've
seen that much two and three-wide racing all feature long every night
throughout the entire field. Many fans said it's the best racing
they've seen in years and were quite impressed. Some of the drivers
said it's the most fun they've ever had in a race car. We have to
thank the drivers for their excellent support, professionalism, and
enthusiasm for the Series, the tracks for allowing us the opportunity
to put on the caliber of racing, and our officials for doing a great
job for the long weekend. Everyone is becoming a big extended
family. We had 35 different drivers compete last weekend and we're
already up to 46 overall in the region!"
