HARTFORD, Ohio; June 20, 2007 - One week after Sharon Speedway played host to two first-time winners, the FANtastic Five Divisions will once again hit the 3/8-mile dirt oval for their eighth night of racing in 2007 on Saturday night.

For two Sharon Speedway regulars, June 16 was a night to remember. It was an evening that produced a winning moment that will last for an eternity. Brian Carothers (Pure Stocks) and Jason Scoville (Limited Sprints) will circle June 16, 2007 as the night of their first visit to Sharon Speedway's victory circle. Carothers, who has raced at Sharon for seven seasons, had the car to beat in the Tom's Sewer and Drain Service Pure Stock Feature. Scoville, on the other hand, took the checkered flag in only his fifth career race on the Hartford dirt in the Limited Sprint Division.

In the other features on June 16, Bob Felmlee (Sprints) held of Ed Lynch, Jr. to take his fourth Sharon win this season after seven races in the Warren Harley-Davidson Sprint Division. Jim Rasey (Modifieds) bagged his second feature win of the season in the Gibson-Governor Insurance Modified 25-lap feature. Scott Stiffler claimed his first victory of the year in the Coy Brothers Trucking E-Mod Division.

Saturday evening will feature a Gold Rush inside the FANtastic Zone for the kids in attendance. The night will also highlight the Sharon Speedway Push Trucks. The men who help get the 3/8-mile oval in optimum racing condition will get to take a fast lap of their own in head-to-head one-lap shootouts at intermission. The Kids Crew will also meet on Saturday.

Tickets for Saturday evening's show will be available at a price of $11 for adults (16 and older), $5 for kids (12-15) and free for children 11 and younger. Pit passes are $22, and the pit gate opens at 3 p.m.

Saturday will also be a "Two for $2" night. Fans who bring two non-perishable food items for Second Harvest Food Bank this Saturday will receive $2 off the price of an adult general admission ticket. A representative will collect the food outside the gate from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. only. Everyone who donates two food items will receive a $2 coupon to present at the ticket window, bringing the price of an adult general admission ticket to just $9. All non-perishable food items are accepted, but canned meats, canned vegetables, tuna and peanut butter are needed most.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Fans can call (330) 772-5481 or visit www.sharonspeedway.com for more information and directions.

Just around the corner for Sharon Speedway will be the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on July 28. Also, just announced is the "NASCAR Duel on the Sharon Speedway Dirt" featuring a $5,000 to win open sprint car feature and a $1,000 to win e-mod feature. The e-mod race will include NASCAR stars Dave Blaney, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick and more NASCAR drivers to be confirmed at a later date. Tickets for both events are $25 for adults and $5 for kids.
