DirtTrackDigest.com - Friday Night At Farmer City Raceway Is First UMP DIRTcar Racing Summernationals Show Postponed By Rain

Heavy morning rain and a forecast of more precipitation for later in the day forced the postponement of Friday night’s scheduled UMP DIRTcar Racing Summernationals event at Farmer City Raceway.

It was the first rainout in eight days of competition for the 2007 Summernationals, which will visit 27 different tracks during a month-long marathon of dirt Late Model speed.

Farmer City promoter Don Hammer said his quarter-mile track’s Summernationals show will be made up on Fri., July 13. That puts Farmer City as the second-to-last event on the Summernationals schedule, preceding the Sat., July 14, tour finale at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon , Ohio .
