On Tuesday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 4th Little Valley Speedway will present the annual Freedom Daze double header. On Tuesday, Fan Appreciation Night, sponsored by Southeastern Transmission, the Super Late Models head the card, with David Scott, The Slow Ride, looking to start another winning streak. They will be running for a healthy $4,000 to win. The Super Stocks, with $1,000 to win, the E-Mods, also with $1,000 to win, the Street Stocks, with $500 to win, and the Mini Stocks, will also be in action. There will be double points in all divisions. On Wednesday, a huge demolition derby along with monster truck rides will highlight the action. The demo winner will pocket $1,000 to win, with $350 going to the best of show. There will be fireworks on both nights.
Little Valley Speedway is located on the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds on Rt. 353 in Little Valley New York, just eight miles from Ellicottville, and just north of the Salamanca exit of I-86 The track features a covered grandstand, stadium seats, and great food. There is also free camping with hookups right on the grounds. Gates open at 3:00, with racing at 6:00 on Tuesday, and gates open at 4:30 for the demo, with a 7:30 start on Wednesday. Admission on Tuesday is only $12 for adults, with those under twelve admitted free, with $7 for the demo and under seven years old free for the demo derby on Wednesday.
