No Stopping Wilson In Southern Ontario Sprint Action

Rick Wilson continued his domination of Southern Ontario Sprint action
Saturday night as the series moved into South Buxton Raceway for the first
of three visits on the 2007 calendar.
Charging up from his twelfth place starting spot, the veteran driver
shuffled past race long leader Joe Middlemiss and into the lead at the half
way mark surviving challenges from Adam West and Kyle Patrick to take his
fourth win of the season.
Second went to Kyle Patrick in the Terry Vogler machine with Warren Mahoney,
Adam West, and Joe Middlemiss rounding out the top five. Rookie Mark Swain
continues to show promise finishing sixth with John Watson, Keith Dempster,
Bob Crawford, and Craig Downie completing sixth through tenth.
Several cautions and red flag periods slowed the event with the most serious
coming as the checkers flew as Dick Mahoney and Justin Martin turned their
cars over on the back stretch in separate incidents.

Heat races were won by John WATSON, Joe MIDDLEMISS and April WILSON picking
up her first checker flag in heat race three.

Next up the series returns to Brighton Speedway on July 7th before a return
engagement at South Buxton on July 14th.
