BAY CITY, Mich. (June 25) – IMCA Modified special events competitors
are again in the running for contingency awards from Brinn
Transmission.
The Bay City, Mich., manufacturer will give $15,000 in product
certificates to competitors at 30 IMCA Modified special events this
year. Top 10 feature finishers at designated specials receive $50
product certificates, good toward the purchase of a new transmission.
All drivers who enter one or more of those specials will be pooled in
a December drawing, with the winner to receive a Brinn-made
transmission.
More than 1,200 drivers were part of last year’s drawing, won by
Darrell Grebb of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Other products manufactured by Brinn include bell housings, shock
absorbers and shock dynamometers. Information is available by
calling 989 686-8920 or at the www.brinninc.com website.
“The success of Brinn transmissions in IMCA competition has increased
each season, and their support of Modified special events is a
reflection of that,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder.
“Free
transmissions have now been sent to North Carolina, Texas, Florida
and Idaho, with a fifth to be added in December.”
