OMAHA, Neb. (June 27) – Speedway Graphics has signed on as a new
sponsor for the Deery Brothers Summer Series as well as for each of
the IMCA divisions that will crown a national champion this season.
The Omaha sign and graphic shop is providing the presentation checks
given to Deery feature winners and a $50 gift certificate to the hard
charger at each event in the tour for IMCA Sunoco Late Models.
Speedway Graphics will also design and produce vinyl banners for each
national champion to be displayed during the national awards banquet
in November and at trade shows.
“The Deery Series is an excellent series and has been around for a
long time,” Speedway Graphics owner Stan Cisar said. “I know the
drivers want their cars to look good and we’re glad to become a
sponsor for series.”
“I’ve known Tom Gutowski (IMCA’s competition director) for years
and
we’re involved with a lot of area tracks,” added Cisar, also the
announcer at Eagle Raceway. “The staff I have is very good and we
like being able to help sponsor an entire series.”
The company designs lettering for nearly 400 racing customers every
year, shipping to all 50 states. Cisar “dabbled in racing a little
bit” and applied his art background in lettering his car and
friends’
cars before opening the door for business in 1986
“The custom checks we have been awarding to Deery feature winners are
very sharp, add a little something extra to victory lane and double
as a great souvenir for our winners,” said IMCA Marketing Director
Kevin Yoder. “We have been working with Speedway Graphics in a
limited capacity for a number of years and are really happy to be
involved with them in a full-fledged partnership.”
Speedway Graphics is a division of Action Signs, which does a high
