Fans and Racers get geared up for Armed Forces Autograph Night.

Batavia, NY—June 27, 2007--By: Chris Rhynold, Media/Racer Relations Director

Fans and Racers of Genesee Speedway are getting geared up for the Armed Forces Autograph Night. Drivers will be available for fans to get their favorite drivers autograph and pictures. Be sure to pick-up your special edition souvenir program complete with a two-page pull out for you autographs.

Saturday night is also Armed Forces Night. Any military member who produces the proper ID will be admitted free to the grandstand. A thank-you to the people who serve and protect our country.

Bill Weller (Bobcat of Buffalo Street Stocks), Jim Johnson (BDK Construction 360 Late Models), Pete Stefanski (Greenlief’s Restaurant Pro Stocks) and Bobby Dickinson (Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stocks) are all coming off wins and are looking to add to there win list in their respected divisions. All the drivers previously mentioned have 2 or more feature wins at the speedway this year. Now add Rob Pratt (Troyer Race Cars Sportsman), Steve Schumacher (Troyer Race Cars Sportsman), Don Barnes (Greenlief’s Restaurant), Jeb Walworth (Bobcat of Buffalo Street Stocks), Dan Norton (Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stocks) and Nick Skeet (Dickinson’s Auto Service Mini Stocks) who are all multi time feature winners. It looks like these handful of drivers are competing with each other to see who can get the most feature wins during the season.

The Troyer Race Cars Sportsman will resume action this week as they had the weekend off last week when the Lucas Oil Shoot-Out 358 Modified Series was in town. Brockport native Rob Pratt looks to have his problems all fixed as he placed 2nd in the Lucas Oil Shoot-Out at Ohsweken Speedway and raced against the 358 Modifieds at Genesee.

Don’t forget to stop by the All New Souvenir Booth located behind the main tower to pick up your souvenir program and Genesee Speedway apparel.

Pit Gates open at 4pm, Grandstand opens at 5pm, Green Flag drops at 6pm. For race day information call the speedway at 585-343-1076.
