L.K. Kennedy Trucking and Beam Mack to co-sponsor the nightly event which features the return of the Mid-State Vintage Cars.
Also, it’s Kinship Family Youth Services Night at the track
(Woodhull, NY) Bring your chain drive wallet and wear your double clutching boots and polish up on your CB Radio jargon as it will be “Trucking Night” at the Woodhull Raceway. On Saturday, July 14 the L.J. Kennedy Trucking Company with home offices in Kearny, NJ along with Beam Mack Sales with offices in Horseheads will co-sponsor the nightly event which will feature a Regular Big 6 Show. In addition the Mid-State Vintage Cars will make their annual trek to the high banks of the Woodhull Raceway to round out the card. Local favorite, Bob Williams will head up a who’s who list of greats that bring back a taste of yesteryear and allow fans the opportunity to see what the cars and racing was like a half century ago.
For well over half a decade the L.J. Kennedy Trucking Company has been a major marketing partner with the Woodhull Raceway and their presence is once again felt in 2007 at the historic Steuben County oval as Kennedy is once again a serious player at the track. “We have a tremendous relationship with Kennedy and many of their people, stated Woodhull owner, Vern Wasson. Their goal all along has been to recruit drivers within this region and their “Marketing thru Motorsports” scheme has worked to perfection.” Company spokesperson, Mitch Bookbinder has indicated that this year’s event at Woodhull will be their most aggressive ever with well over 100 Kennedy representatives, drivers and their families in attendance. In addition to their night of sponsorship on July 14, Kennedy will also have a fully catered gathering at the track all day long.
Joining L.J. Kennedy Trucking for the second consecutive year as a co-sponsor of the event will be Beam Mack Sales of Horseheads. Beam Mack has gone through a tremendous growth spurt within the past year as they have purchased the former Albee Truck Company of Elmira and now has the entire operation housed in a beautiful new state of the art facility on Lake Road in Horseheads. Gates for the July 14 show open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30.
In addition it will be the third in a series of four Kinship Family Youth Services nights at the track and those parties involved in the program and with to attend the night should contact the Hornell office and register.
