Rain forced the cancellation of Friday night’s UMP DIRTcar Racing Summernationals event at Western Kentucky Speedway.

The scheduled 40-lap, $6,000-to-win dirt Late Model program was the third of this year’s Summernationals to fall to wet weather. Previous rainouts occurred at Farmer City ( Ill. ) Raceway on June 22 and Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon , Mo. , on June 27.
