Gillette’s 38 Special pays $3,000 to IMCA Modified winner
GILLETTE, Wyo. (July 1) – The 38 Special at Gillette Speedway totes a
$3,000 check and 38 Special handgun for the winner of the Saturday,
July 14 IMCA Modified feature.
A new addition to the Blood, Sweat and Tears Series, the event pays
$2,000 to the runner-up, $1,200 for third and a total of nearly
$10,000 to feature qualifiers.
The 38 Special follows the final night of the Big Dog Dakota Classic
Tour and also offers drivers another night to compete for national,
home region and Smiley’s Racing Products state points.

Gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Entry fee is $75 and
pit passes are $20.
The winner will also be added to the 2008 Fast Shafts All-Star
Invitational ballot.
