WEST FARGO, N.D. (July 1) – Hurricane Race Cars is back as an IMCA
sponsor this season, providing contingency awards for feature winners
in each of the special series for Modifieds and at 15 special events
for Stock Cars.
The West Fargo, N.D., chassis builder will give $500 product
certificates to each winner in the Big Dog Dakota Classic Tour, EQ
Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour, the World Products Empire State Series
and the Blood, Sweat and Tears Series.
Winners of 15 designated Stock specials earn $250 product certificates.
Hurricane had given special events awards to Modified and Stock Car
competitors during its previous stint as an IMCA sponsor.
“With a new location in Fargo, Hurricane Race Cars is launching a
renewed effort to make their Modified and Stock Car chassis’ more
accessible to the IMCA racer,” said Kevin Yoder, director of
marketing for IMCA. “Their certificates will make the purchase easier
and the new location will make the drive to pick up that new car a
little more manageable.”
