A late-afternoon thunderstorm struck Macon Speedway on Thursday, forcing the postponement of the evening’s UMP DIRTcar Racing Summernationals ‘The Herald & Review 100.’

The prestigious extra-distance event at the one-fifth-mile, high-banked oval has been rescheduled for Sat., July 21.

The Herald & Review 100 was scheduled to be the 17th stop of the 26-event UMP DIRTcar Racing Summernationals. It was the fourth program that was rained out on this year’s tour.
