FULTON, NY A huge action-packed seven division show of stock car racing will be presented this Saturday July 7 at Fulton Speedway on Military Appreciation Night. All military personnel with a valid ID will be admitted to the grandstand area free of charge. In race action on the fast 3/8-mile clay oval will be the DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman, ESDCA Mod Lites, UMP Pro Stocks, UMP Street Stocks, and 4-Cylinder Enduros. Race time at the popular speedway is set for 7pm.
Race action in the headline DIRTcar Modified division continues to be as intense as ever with five different winners to date including point leader Jimmy Phelps (2), Alan Johnson (2), Dale Planck (1), Brian Weaver (1), and Vince Vitale (1) all visiting victory lane. Looking for their first Fulton Speedway Modified wins of the 2007 season are Kevin Bates, Chad Phelps, Kenny Stafford, Tom Sears, Jim Witko, Roy Bresnahan, Dan Vauter, Jeremy Smith, Tim Sears, and Brett Tonkin. This Saturdays 35-lap main event for the Modifieds will surely be a battle to the final corner.
The fast-paced super seven division show will also feature the DIRTcar Sportsman, Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman, ESDCA Mod Lites, UMP Pro Stocks, UMP Pure Stocks, and 4-Cylinder Enduro racers. Chris Hile and Timmy Sears Jr. are the current point leaders in the DIRTcar Sportsman and Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman divisions, respectively. Jason Parkhurst is looking for his first ever track title in the UMP Pro Stocks as is Ron Hawker in the UMP Street Stocks. Dan Williams has dominated the ESDCA Mod Lites, while action in the 4-Cylinder Enduros remains tight with Mark Johnston and Jerry Herbert just six points apart.
Admission prices this Saturday July 7 on Military Appreciation Night at the Home of the Victoria 200 are $12 for Adults, $5 for Ages 10-14, and children 9 and under are free of charge with a paid adult. All military personnel with a valid ID will be admitted free of charge. Fulton Speedway is conveniently located on Route 57, just 2 miles south of Fulton.
