ASCS Coastal Region Weekend Washed Out

MERIDIAN, Miss. (July 6, 2007) – Mother Nature has completed a sweep of the weekend's American Sprint Car Series Coastal Region twin bill in Mississippi, as heavy rain with more expected tomorrow has forced the cancellation of Saturday night's $2,000 to win event at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.



Friday's event at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS, was cancelled on Thursday due to heavy rain as well.



The ASCS Coastal Region returns to action on Saturday night, July 21, with a $2,000 to win card at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL.
