Newberrytown, PA (July 7, 2007) – Stock Car Saturday night at the Susquehanna Speedway Park found Bud Witmer in victory lane for his first win of the season over Steven Billet and Jake Jones. Kory Sites won his third Street Stock feature of the season and his 50th career in a close battle with Steven Dove. Michael Goodwin bested the Xtreme Stock Car field again in the 30-lap feature event by a car length over Charlie Pensinger and Ray Broderick. Grant Adams won the Four Cylinder Stock Car feature over Ronnie Buck. Joshua Morrow won the 15-lap Legends Cars feature. John Stoll, Jr. picked up the win in the XSC Rookie Rumble race and Butch Richcreek, Jr. won the Susquehanna Recyclers Mini Van Race.

In the 20-lap Late Model feature event, the first fourteen laps went non-stop with Bud Witmer leading until a caution flew on the 14th lap for a spinning Robert Minnich in turn two. On the restart, Witmer continued to lead over John Moser and Steven Billet. Another caution on the 19th lap for a multi car spin in turns one. With three cars blocking the track, officials were unable to throw the checkered, thus setting up a one lap dash to the finish. Witmer continued to lead with Billet challenging low, but again the caution flew for spins. On the second try, another multi-car spin occurred. On the third try four cars spun again, and the checkered and yellow flew to finish up the race with Witmer taking the victory over Steven Billet and Jake Jones. Scott Richwine and Kyle Saylor finished fourth and fifth. Completing the next five positions were Gene Wrightstone, Justin Ehrhart, Carl Graves, Bob Scott, Jr. and John Baker.

In the 20-lap Street Stock feature, Steven Dove jumped out to the early lead. On the fourth lap Kory Sites moved his way into a side-by-side battle with Dove for the lead. For eight laps, Steven Dove and Kory Sites battled side-by-side until Sites finally gained the control of the lead on the twelfth lap. A spinning Jenn Scott on the 16th brought out a caution for a four lap race to the finish. Sites continued to lead on the restart until the caution flew once again with one lap to go for a spin by Calvin Herman in turn two. Sites held on at the finish for the win over Dove. Todd Bowersox, Craig Morgan and Wes Alleman finished third through fifth respectively. Brian Hauenstein, George Eash, Dustin Hollinger, Paul Morgan and Scott Thunberg completed the top ten.

In another exciting 30-lap Xtreme Stock Car feature, John Remlein led the field to the first lap before Matt Wampler took the lead away on the second circuit. Wampler continued to lead for the next four laps with Ray Broderick overtaking him for the lead on the seventh lap. From that point, a four car battle ensued between Broderick, Wampler, Sam Rial and Michael Goodwin. Then with ten laps to go, Charlie Pensinger and Brent Fogelsanger made it a six car battle. Goodwin took the lead on the 24th lap from Broderick. With five to go, the caution flew making it a true shootout to the finish. At the finish Michael Goodwin edged out Pensinger by a car length. Close behind was Ray Broderick in third, followed by Rial and Travis Horan. Mark Vegh, Bob Bender, Jr., Jason Failor, Adam Smith and Larry Landis completed the top ten.

In a very competitive 15-lap Four Cylinder Stock Car feature event, Grant Adams picked up the win with heavy pressure at the end from second place finisher Ronnie Buck. Ralph Morgan, Jr. finished third, followed by John Stoll, Jr. and Ed Hollenbach.

In the 15-lap Legends Cars main event, Joshua Morrow picked up the feature win over veteran driver Ronnie Dunstan. Jeff Condran finished third. Brian Weitzel and Stephen Nederostek rounded out the top five.
