Mother Nature claims the big block show at Cornwall Motor Speedway

CORNWALL, On – Sunday July 8, 2007 – The Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series Big Block show was in town for their annual visit at Cornwall but Mother Nature had other plans in mind. The rain precipitations over the last few days forced Cornwall and DIRT official to cancel because both the track and the pit area were not accessible. It is the fourth race program of this season that cannot be done because of bad weather.
After a meeting with DIRT officials, both parties decided to put Sunday, August 19 as a tentative date for the presentation of this big show. Everybody that had already bought their tickets, please keep them for that Sunday. More details are to follow for the confirmation of this date.
Do not miss next weeks show as the Cornwall Truck Centre presents the second visit of the Empire Super Sprints. On their first visit, Jeff Vandusen had won the feature while local favourite Brian Mcdonald had finished sixth in that 25 lap feature. Also on the schedule, is a complete race program except for the Semi-Pro class. Racing starts at 7pm.
