BROCKVILLE-Mother Nature is on a roll. That's means nothing was hitting the track at Brockville Ontario Speedway for a second straight week. Officials pulled the plug on Fan Appreciation Carload night early as the rains continued to rip through the Brockville area. However, the good news is that fans won't have to wait long to see the wheeled warriors hit the track again.
The popular Big Block Modifieds will return to the Beast of the East for their lone appearance on the fast quarter mile on Tuesday night, July 10th. The Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series tour will be joined by the first ever appearance on the Eastern Ontario clay by the Empire State IMCA Modified series for a much anticipated twin bill.
Gates will open at 5 pm on Tuesday with time trails hitting the track around 6:30 pm and heat races scheduled to take the green flag at 7pm. It's the first half of a huge week at the Beast of the East as the ASCS Patriot Sprints bring their traveling road show into Brockville for the second time in 2007 on Saturday, July 14th.
