Midwest All Stars Thunder into Jefferson County Raceway
The O’Reilly All Star Series, featuring the “Best of the Midwest” in winged sprint car action, brings its thrill-a-second, high flying racing action to the Jefferson County Raceway in Mt. Vernon, IL. on Sunday evening, July 15th.
The fastest-growing winged sprint car series in the country, with over eighty drivers having competed in events this season, is led by series points leader and Sikeston, MO. super-shoe Jerrod Hull and fellow Missouri star, the “Fredrickstown Flash” Tim Montgomery. Illinois stars Robbie and Jeremy Standridge, A.J. and Corey Bruns, Ryan Bunton and many more ‘stars of the Midwest’ will vie for the coveted $2,000 first prize in the biggest sprint car show of the season in southern Illinois.
Jefferson County Raceway is a super-fast, high-banked ¼ mile facility located just off Interstate 57 at exit 95. Pit gates are open at 3pm, grandstands open at 5pm and racing action begins at 6pm.
