SUPER DIRTcar SERIES BIG BLOCK MODIFIED 100 LAP TRAFFIC JAM BRINGS
THUNDER TO GRANDVIEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT, JULY 18

The first of three FAN FUN Nights will kickoff at the Grandview Speedway
as the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series presents the
Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified 100 Lap Traffic JAM on Wednesday night,
July 18. The FAN FUN Nights will continue at the Bridgeport Speedway
on Tuesday night, August 7 and the New Egypt Speedway on Wednesday,
August 15. This is a first time ever joint promotion between the three
popular Northeast dirt track facilities. NAPA Auto Parts, COMDIAL
Telephone Communications and BPG Racing/Chad Sinon Motorsports are
adding the Fan Fun to exciting night of racing.

For the Wednesday night, July 18 event at Grandview Speedway, the
program will open with the COMDIAL Telephone Communications Time Trials
for the Modifieds. The COMDIAL fast lap at Grandview is held by Matt
Sheppard of Albany, NY with a time of 14.635 established on August
18, 2004. The COMDIAL fast time of the night will earn $200. The
Modifieds will then duke it out in a series of ten lap heat race events
and a consolation leading up to the 100 lap TRAFFIC JAM. Thirty high
powered big block modifieds will start the event that always produces an
exciting start, a thrilling mid-race battle and a nail biting, down to
the wire finish. Also on the program will be the Garden State Vintage
Stock Cars in an exhibition races that is equally exciting as the
Traffic Jam event. Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.

This will mark the seventy-eighth Thunder on the Hill Racing Series
event since its' beginning back in 1990. A big night of fan fun and
great racing action is planned for the Grandview Speedway on Wednesday
night, July 18 when the DIRT Motorsports Super DIRTcar Big Block
Modifieds invade the hill. The 10th Annual Big Block Modified Traffic
JAM is sure to lure the top names in the business as they chase the
$6,000 first place prize money in the 100 lap grind.

In the nine previous Big Block Modified 100 Lap Traffic JAM events, the
domination has been in the hands of the DIRTcar drivers. Brett Hearn
won the first Traffic JAM back in 1998 with Jimmy Horton taking top
honors in 1999. The following year, Wind Gap, PA driver Frank Cozze won
the JAM event. In 2001 the victory went to Tim McCreadie with Brett
Hearn returning to the Grandview podium in 2002. Billy Decker (2003),
Tim McCreadie (2004), Tim Fuller (2005) and Alan Johnson (2006) were all
previous winners of the Thunder on the Hill Traffic Jam events.

For the race fans, this event will mark the first of three FAN FUN
NIGHTS planned at Grandview, Bridgeport and the New Egypt Speedway.
What does this mean for the race fans? First, there will be plenty of
Fan Give Aways. Also, each track will be represented by their track
announcer at each of the FAN FUN Nights. Equipped with roaming
microphones, Nick Leach from New Egypt, Bill Sasser from Bridgeport and
Jeff Alhum from Grandview/Thunder on the Hill will be out in crowd to
stir up some friendly competition and rivalry in the grandstands. Shane
Andrews from DIRT Motorsports will have a microphone and you should
expect a few other guest announcers, just to spark some excitement.

Race fans from Grandview, Bridgeport and New Egypt are encourage to wear
their home track t-shirt to each event and proudly represent their home
speedway. In exchange, spectators will receive a $2 discount off their
adult admission ticket if they are wearing their track t-shirt when
purchasing their ticket on race night.

For the Grandview Speedway FAN FUN Night, you can meet Ms. Motorsports
Chelsea Miller, who will also be singing the National Anthem. COMDIAL
Telephone Communications will have some give away gifts along with NAPA
Auto Parts. BPG Racing and Chad Sinon Motorsports have purchased a
block of forty tickets (Tuesday, August 21 5-25's Thunder Event) to
toss to the crowd. The very popular Inside/Out Promotion will also
take place, allowing the first fifty fans at the front gate to go to the
infield to watch the modified warm-ups. At feature time, a fan and
driver Meet & Greet will take place, allowing fans to go down on the
homestretch as the 30 car starting field is being announced. And last
but not least, JOE the Pizza Dude will make an appearance. It a great
night of racing planned especially for YOU, the all important Race Fans.

The FAN FUN Nights have the potential of creating some great old-fashion
fun, trackside on race night, and it will all take place at the
Grandview Speedway on Wednesday night, July 18, Bridgeport Speedway on
Tuesday night, August 7 and the New Egypt Speedway on Wednesday night,
August 15. Plan to attend all three racing events and be prepared to
hoot and holler, make some noise and stomp those feet for your favorite
or perhaps, your not so favorite drivers.

Always a fan favorite, the 10th Annual Super DIRT Series Big
Block Modified 100 Lap Traffic JAM will take to the Grandview Speedway
on Wednesday night, July 18. A field of at least thirty modifieds will
start the 100 lap grind that will pay $6,000 to the winner. The top
stars of DIRT to include Brett Hearn, Alan Johnson, Matt Sheppard, Tim
Fuller, Billy Decker, Gary Tomkins, Pat Ward and Danny Johnson will
challenge of the Southeast locals like Jeff Strunk, Billy Pauch, Jimmy
Horton, Frank Cozze, Craig VonDohren, Doug Manmiller and Kenny
Brightbill just to name a few. The Garden State Vintage Stock Cars will

Features Only
The fans favorite, the Grandview THUNDER 5-25's features only
program will make-up this popular racing program. The 410 Sprints,
NASCAR Modifieds, 600 Sprints, Rolling Thunder Legends and the 600
Modifieds will be the five featured classes of this show. Be sure to
catch the 5-25's, the fans just love the feature only format. No Time
Trials, No Heat Races, No Consolations, No Qualifying. . . . Just 5
Awesome features in one night of racing. Over 100 cars compete in this
great night of racing.

The House of Thunder Halloween Party and Grandview THUNDER
5-25's features only program will close out the 2007 Thunder on the Hill
Racing Series. On the five division program will be the URC Spooky
Sprints, the NASCAR Nasty Modifieds, the Looney Late Models, Ghostly
Legends and the 600 Monster Modifieds. An added attraction to the show
will be the always enjoyable Garden State Vintage Stock Cars. Come out
early for the pre-race fun! Dress up for Halloween and maybe you'll be
in the Victory Lane Photo.
