Chili Bowl Tickets Gone Again
Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (July 18, 2007) – What has become the norm over the past several years proved to be the case once again this year. When the ticket renewal deadline for the 22nd Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals hit on June 1, demand for four-night tickets once again exceeded the supply.
All four-night tickets were mailed by July 1 and distributed to the lucky ticket holders.
The silver lining for some is that approximately 1,600 tickets for the Tuesday night Pre-Qualifying event remain and may be purchased in advance for $21 by calling the Chili Bowl ticket office at 918-838-3777. Pit passes for the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday portions of the Chili Bowl will be available as well.
The 22nd Annual Chili Bowl Nationals takes place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 8-12, 2008, with reigning event champion Tony Stewart gunning for a third Golden Driller against a field that could easily rival the 2007 record of 267 competitors.
