72nd Anniversary Race at Limaland Motorsports Park
Limaland Motorsports Park will be celebrating its 72nd Anniversary this Friday night, July 20, 2007. To honor this momentous occasion, special purses have been posted for all three divisions. The EFI-NRA Sprint invaders will be on hand to race a twenty-five-lap feature for $2000.00. The Professional Computer Company UMP Modifieds will be chasing a $1500.00 pay day and the Bud Thunderstock feature winner will pocket $800.00 after fifteen laps.
Expect a festival-like atmosphere as the Limaland faithful have a chance to do some tailgating, fishing in the pond and relaxing at the shelter house. Families can enjoy a shaded picnic area with several tables available. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. and hot laps will start at 6:30 p.m.
The night of excitement will begin with the awarding of the Smith Boughan "Cool Move" decided by fan balloting. The McDonald's Dash for Cash, the first event of the night, will hit the track at 7:30 p.m. For additional information, please visit our website at www.limaland.com.
