SOUTHERN ONTARIO SPRINT SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 7TH AT
OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY
For Immediate Release – Southern Ontario Sprints
The racing season is already at the half way mark and the SOS
Invitational is just a little more than a month away. This year our
Invitational is scheduled to take place at Ohsweken Speedway on Friday,
September 7th.
This event is once again a closed event for SOS competitors. The concept
and format was put in place a couple of seasons ago to reward drivers
who support the club throughout the year. In order to be eligible to
participate in this event, a driver must have competed in at least one
SOS points event at each of the three venues what are on the 2007
schedule. Non-points events do not count.
There are already 21 drivers that have qualified for this event and
there are still more opportunities for others to meet the requirements.
The next race at South Buxton Raceway scheduled for August 4th, will be
the final race of the season for the SOS at this track. Then we will
visit Ohsweken Speedway on August 10th for the last points event at this
track before the Invitational. There are also three dates remaining at
Brighton Speedway.
