MULTI MEDIA SERVICES AND THE ELMIRA JACKALS HOCKEY TEAM TO SPONSOR THE EVENT.
(Woodhull, NY) The 2007 race season at the Woodhull Raceway is well into the second half of the year and the month of August will open with the annual appearance of the Central New York Mini Sprints. A tradition that started several years ago will continue with Multi Media Services of Corning sponsoring the CNYMS Show on August 5, but this year they will bring some friends along in the form of the Elmira Jackals Hockey team of Elmira. “We work very closely with the Jackals front office in the handling of their print materials as well as signs and banners within the arena, stated Multi Media President, Rich Bartholomew. We see this as a perfect opportunity to introduce many of the key people within the Jackals organization to the Motorsports competition at Woodhull and at the same time let the fans get up close with some of the players and team management.”
The Elmira Jackals team mascot, Blade will be on hand at the track having fun with the youngster and it is advised for parents to bring their cameras along. Fan favorite, Frankie Littlejohn will be available for autographs and pictures and Jackals General Manager, Robbie Nichols will be on board as well to entertain questions about the upcoming season. Gates for the August 5 event open at 4;30 with racing at 6:30 and in addition to the CNYMS there will be a Regular Big 6 Show of all of Woodhull’s regular classes of competition. It is getting down to crunch time as the point battles are heating up heading into the last full point month of the year.
