HARTFORD, Ohio; July 21, 2007 - Sharon Speedway officials were forced to cancel racing on Saturday due to an equipment failure and unsafe track conditions at the request of the competitors.
The speedway would like to sincerely apologize for the host of unfortunate circumstances. Due to this, Sharon Speedway will honor ALL tickets and pit passes from July 21 for any regular night of FANtastic Five racing for the remainder of the 2007 season. Fans with any questions are urged to call the track at 330-772-5481 on Monday.
The nation's best late model drivers will be in Hartford next Saturday - July 28 - for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series' only visit to Sharon Speedway in 2007. Tickets are $25 for adults and just $5 for kids. For tickets call 330-772-1186 or order online. Fans are encouraged to order in advance to guarantee your spot at the World of Outlaws Pit Party at intermission.
