Thorold, Ontario (July 24) In just 13 days, Merrittville Speedway will be playing host to it’s biggest event of the 2007 Season when the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series makes a visit.
Also making a visit Monday August 6th will be the staff from Club Castropignano who will be putting on their famous Pasta Dinner prior to race time.
“It just adds to much to the event,” relates (Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell, “Thorold has a rich Italian Heritage and we’re proud to showcase the Club with an awesome dinner … race fans and race teams alike should come to the event hungry … I know I do … no one goes away hungry.”

Race Fans and Teams can purchase their tickets from the Speedway Office during Business Hours or during races from the Novelty Trailer inside the front gate or in Dipper’s Turn 1 Bar.

The Pasta Dinner takes place Monday August 6th from 4:30 to 6:30 in Dipper’s Turn 1 Bar and Pavillion Area behind the Turn 1 Grandstands.
Club Castropignano – located a few minutes from the Speedway itself – is home to both of Merrittville Speedway’s Awards Banquets – Stock Cars and Karts.
