September 6th - 8th
BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (July 24) -- The wait is nearly over for thousands of race fans who circled September 5-8 on their calendar and submitted their vacation time at work to be a part of the 9th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway. Featuring the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series, the Featherlite Fall Jamboree has grown to be the indisputable venue for America’s most talented dirt Modified drivers to strut their stuff on one of the most competitive and exciting racetracks ever carved into the earth. Three complete shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6-8, are on tap as the best of the best converge on the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval in the rural hills outside of Spring Valley, Minn.
The real deal happens on Thursday, Sept. 6, with a complete program of O’Reilly USMTS Modifieds, plus WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. A field of 26 cars will start the O’Reilly USMTS main event, which carries a $2,000 top prize and pays a minimum of $250 to start. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., grandstands open at 4 and races begin at 6. Friday’s menu will kick off with the annual Jamboree Golf Tournament, followed by a second night of screaming on-track action. The O’Reilly USMTS Modifieds will again have a 26-car feature field, with the winner’s share of the purse doubled to $4,000 and $300 going to each driver making the main event. WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds will also be on the card as they race for $500 to win and $50 to start. Fans, drivers, crews and families will put a lid on Friday’s festivities with the annual Karaoke Night … open to everybody. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., grandstands open at 4 and races begin at 6 p.m.
Saturday’s super-sensational enormous explosive finale will feature the hottest Modified pilots in the nation battling for a spot in the 9th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree main event for the O’Reilly USMTS Modifieds. A field of 30 cars will start the main event three-wide and 10 rows deep as drivers battle for a $6,000 top prize. All drivers that make the big dance will earn at least $600. And if that wasn’t enough, non-qualifiers will have a chance at one of the 24 spots in the Non-Qualifier "A" Main, which carries a $2,000 top prize and pays $200 to start. In addition, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds will duel for $500 to win and $50 to start their main event. The pit gate opens at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with grandstands open at 3 p.m. The mud starts flyin’ with the waving of the first green flag at 5 p.m.
Last, but certainly not least … this year’s Featherlite Fall Jamboree will be the final National Event for O’Reilly USMTS and will award points in the ‘The Hunt’ for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship.
