SPORTSMAN CARS AT WILLIAMS GROVE AUGUST 4 AND AUGUST 11
MECHANICSBURG, PA -- The Saturday Night Series will continue at
Williams Grove Speedway on August 4 at 7:00.
The 4-division program will include super sportsman cars, limited
late models, street stocks and 4-cylinder stock cars.
The sportsman division will be the featured attraction this week
and the sportsman portion of Saturday night's program will be sponsored
by Victory Lane Construction.
This week's event will be part of the 2007 Lawrence Chevrolet
Sportsman Tour. Frankie Herr and Rich Eichelberger are battling for the
tour championship, but at Williams Grove J. R. Fry, Paul Miller and
Carmen Perigo are also prime contenders for the track title.
In the limited late model division Tyler Hershey and Tyler
Armstrong appear to be headed into the season's homestretch as the
drivers most likely to claim the championship in the top stock car
division of the Saturday Night Series.
The late model point fund is sponsored by Malco Landscape, Inc.
The same four divisions will be back at Williams Grove on August 11.
On August 25, the limited late models will headline the card with a
championship event.
Also, on the August 25 program will be street stocks., 4-cylinder
stocks and a 50-lap enduro.
