Midwest All Stars Take on Montgomery and Morgan County This Weekend.

The stars of the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series roar into
Jacksonville, Illinois Friday night, August 3rd for the series initial
appearance at the Morgan County Speedway. The series features an
ever-tightening battle for the season championship, along with a stellar
field of local and regional winged sprint car heroes.

The series, featuring the “Best of the Midwest”, has played host to
nearly one hundred drivers in eight events thus far in 2007. The racing
has been spectacularly competitive, with only Jerrod Hull and Chad
Blonde notching more than one feature win. The series points leader,
Hull, holds a narrow twenty-three marker advantage over Springfield’s
Rob Standridge. Another Springfield standout, twenty-year-old A.J.
Bruns, is third, just eighty-four points behind Hull. Tim Montgomery is
fourth with hard charging youngster Ryan Bunton in fifth. The event
promises to be a wide-open affair on the high-banked quarter-mile.

Come out and celebrate the return of big-time winged sprint car racing
to Jacksonville! Tickets are only $20.00 for general admission. Also,
check out the RacersInsight in-car camera booth in the grandstand during
the races. For more information about the O’Reilly Midwest All Star
