Forestville, PA-August 5, 2007- Big Diamond Raceway continues an action packed 2007 season with a special card on Friday night August 10. Chad Miller, a young man who tragically lost his life in an automobile accident a few weeks ago, will be honored by his friends and family.
Chad worked on the pit crew of the Jeff Strunk driven/Glenn Hyneman owned #126 Teo Pro Car 358 Modified. The friends of Chad Miller have put together a special event being held at BDR this Friday. They have added to the purse, laps, and are planning a cash dash.
The Sportsman and Roadrunners will also be on the card. This Friday August 10, gates open at 5:00PM (with special festivities being held during the pre-race). Warm-ups start at 7:00PM and the first heat goes green at 7:30PM.
On Sunday July 29, Mother Nature put an end to a visiting three-division show as rain played the role of spoiler. All three divisions have selected make-up dates, and an extra class has been added in the mix.
The Central PA Legends will return for their Regional Qualifier. The Legends will join the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, and Roadrunners on Pepsi Challenge Night, Friday August 17.
Sunday August 19 has been added to the upcoming ’07 schedule. Mark’s Mechanical will present Wingless Super Sportsman and Limited Late Model racing. The Pro Stocks, which compete weekly at the Selinsgrove (PA) Speedway, have been added to the card. Warm-ups are slated for 5:30PM. Qualifying begins at 6:00PM.
